Knitting

It has been quite a number of years since I picked up a pair of knitting needles, grabbed some wool and started knitting.  Having seen some beautiful examples of little hats (you can find some here) for babies I thought I'd buy myself a book, some knitting needles (I threw out my old collection when I moved out of my parents......big mistake!!!) and get started.

Oh and I also knitted a baby cocoon (photo not included as I am waiting for a willing candidate to fill it first).  I purchased a gorgeous pattern from Angie Hartley from 4aSong on Etsy.

After much persuasion and a promise of sweeties my son Cian modelled my second hat which is a little bit bigger than the first.
